We add more on a continuous basis by working with our Device Integration Center to manage and enhance additional libraries. This service is also available to our customers for special requests.
Which fieldbus should I use?
The answer depends on the application and what’s already installed. An optimized solution will probably use more than one. For example, new 'analog' installations benefit greatly from FOUNDATION Fieldbus, while new 'discrete' installations can benefit from PROFIBUS, PROFINET, DeviceNet and Ethernet/IP. Electrical integration depends on whether the equipment supports protocol IEC 61850, Ethernet /IP, PROFIBUS, DeviceNet, MODBUS, or others.
